An Adventurous Horse Drive for Experienced Riders
This is the Horse Drive at Silver Spur Ranch. Not a typical dude ranch, but an authentic Western adventure. Prepare for an experience unlike any other as you herd 40+ horses through the Rocky Mountains of Idaho.
Fast Rides
You must be comfortable riding at a walk, trot, and gallop. You must be in good health/shape.
Western Riding
We will be riding Western style at the ranch. If you ride English style, the transition should be easy.
15-20 Miles Per Day
Each day differs in length and speed due to terrain, but expect to be riding for at least 5 hours each day.
Nothing tops this trip! It's the best combination of grit and magic. Awesome food, the kindest people, gorgeous views, great accommodations, and truly the best horses.
